Many Christians act as if only a select few can really understand the Bible. The rest of us are left in some kind of spiritual limbo and are dependent upon those “more learned” to help us grasp the “difficult” passage found in scripture.
God did not choose to communicate to us in a way that would be, for the most part, unintelligible. Would you do such a thing to your children?
It is our desire at Freedom Church for us to learn to read scripture well.
As we journey through the Book of Mark it is important to know this is not just a collection of short stories. Mark had something wanted to communicate. Mark doesn’t spend a tremendous amount of time telling us what Jesus said, but does give us a snapshot of what Jesus does. Ultimately what Mark wants us to see is that Jesus is a servant.
Join us as Nate Muse completes our journey through the Book of Mark.
Today we will be covering Mark 16:14-20. We encourage you to take time to read these passage before our Sunday service.
